This notice explains how your personal data is handled under Turkish Law No. 6698 when you contact us or use our services, and the rights available to you.

We may process data about website visitors, newsletter subscribers, customers and people requesting a service. This can include identity and contact details, company and role information, relevant fair or travel details, requests and correspondence, communication choices and limited visit records needed to protect the website.
Purposes of processing
Data is processed to answer requests, prepare quotations and deliver services, maintain customer communications, send newsletters and permitted commercial messages, protect information security, prevent abuse, oversee business activities, comply with legal duties, and establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
Collection methods
Most personal data is collected directly from you through website forms, newsletter registration, email and telephone. Limited usage information may arise automatically when you visit the site so it can operate safely and reliably. Where necessary to prepare a service you requested, limited information may also be received from the relevant organiser or service provider.
Legal grounds
Depending on the specific activity, processing relies on the grounds in Article 5 of Law No. 6698: entering into or performing a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and legitimate interests that do not override your fundamental rights. Where none applies and the law requires it, we obtain consent, which you may withdraw with future effect.
Recipients and transfer purposes
Data may be transferred, where necessary and proportionate, to hosting, email, security and IT providers for technical services; organisers, transport, accommodation and travel providers to prepare or deliver a requested service; advisers for legal and financial compliance; and competent public authorities where required by law or a valid request.
International transfers
International fair and travel requests or technology providers located abroad may require an international transfer. Where this occurs, the current conditions in Article 9 of Law No. 6698 are assessed, an applicable adequacy decision, appropriate safeguard or other statutory transfer mechanism is used, and data is limited to the relevant purpose.
Retention periods
Data is retained for the period required by its purpose, the service relationship, statutory retention duties and limitation periods for potential disputes. When the ground for processing ends and no other legal retention duty applies, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised under the relevant procedures.
Your rights under Article 11
You may ask whether your data is processed; request information; learn the purpose and whether data is used accordingly; learn the recipients; request correction and, where conditions apply, deletion or destruction and notification of those actions to recipients; object to an adverse result produced solely by automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Applications are answered free of charge as soon as possible and no later than thirty days, although a fee under the competent authority's tariff may apply where processing creates an additional cost.
